On arts week we did lots of fun things like watched performances at the Ngaio Marsh!
I liked the Maori one the best. we also drew are olympics dream mine took TWO DAYS!
I also liked taking photos of the arts week mufti day.

arts week extravaganza!

In arts week my favorite things were were rhythm of life , kids for kids concert rehearsal and concert and the show case of talent from the quest . On Monday the 8th of September at 1pm to 2.30 pm we went to the rhythm of life which was a performance were each of the senior classes did A dance . we got there on buses . On Friday the 12th of September at 9.00 to 1.30 we went to the kids for kids concert rehearsal at the James hay theater our choir was A harmony Susanne Prentice sang with us then at 7.30 to 9.00 we did the concert

On Friday the 12 of September at 1.00 to 3.oo we watched the talent quest .


OUR SCHOOL IS VERY TALENTED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Arts Week Fun.

The first thing I liked was the Celtic Kids Concert. It was cool how Bob Bickerdin played the: Baldron Drum, Irish Bagpipes, Harp, Guitar & The Fiddle/ violin. It was funny when he did the rap with the drum. I also liked the story he told about a leprechaun. He was really funny, when he told the story/ song about a boy called Jimmy how he did a handstand with a kilt on. He really inspired me to want to learn the Harp.

I also liked the Hinepau performance, I liked it when she was singing. It was cool how they switched characters. I also liked how it taught us something to remember to listen to other people even if you don't like them they still might be right. It was cool how her weavings came to life.

I also liked the Buskers. My favorite person was the magician. He got himself out of a buckle suit on a unicycle! He also did the pompom ball trick when he says the red one goes up & the green one goes down & it gets REALLY confusing. I really enjoyed ALL the cool things we did in Arts Week,

Amazing Arts Week.

Last week was Arts Week.We had LOTS of cool things going on around the school like Buskers. The Buskers were awesome because a man was juggling fire on a rope.


I also liked the Kids for Kids Concert because on the night we got to see Suzanne Prentice. At half time we all got a lolly each.


On the last day of Arts Week we had the Talent Quest. I like the Talent Quest because they had really cool Talents. My favourite talent was the Dancing.

Amazing Arts

Last week it was Arts Week the Art was AMAZING my most favourite things were the Rhythm Of Life ,Talent Show Case & Kids For Kids Concert.

At the Rhythm Of Life my favourite dance was freeze frame because I liked the Costumes and I also liked the way they danced to the Music.

At the Show Case my favourite one was at the end it was a bird dance . It was so funny.

At the Kids For Kids Concert I saw some of my friends from other schools .I Carn't think of my favourite but I know I don't have a bad one though .   By Amelia.

ARTS WEEK

My three favorite ones are the Buskers,the Hinepau peformance and the game with Room 20.The Buskers because they are very funny.One of them juggles an axe,then another is a sort of clown,The Hinepau peformance because that was very scary but funny.They were peforming actions too.The game with Room fart was very fantastic because Mr Holland counted all of us.Then he said Group 1 goes to Mrs Holland ,Group 2 goes to me and group3 goes to room 17's teacher.Mrs Holland's choice is to play Clap Catch and I am playing Non stop cricket .And I was chosen to be Group 3.It was so fun.

Awesome Art

First of all I got to sing with Suzanne because I was in the choir and got to sing with most of my friends. But the cool part was when we were half way through the concert we all got a lolly each and they were delicious.

Second of all we went into
the village for an i movie that two photographers set up for us. The cool thing was
that they could get a picture of a bird moving and it wouldn't be blurry.

Last of all the calender art I drew a picture of a truck it tunned out really well but thats only because we did it step by step in a book.

FUN TIME AT ARTS WEEK

My favorite thing was Hine pua because it was funny because one person farted when he was sleeping in bed . Boon yong was scared by a monster at the movie . My second favorite thing was when the buskers came at Arts Week when I watched a busker who was holding an axe and juggled the axe and scared me. He nearly chopped his hand off I was scared by that part . When waiting for the busker we needed to go on the bus and go to Hine pua . My picture was a racing car it looks boring and I added things on it looks cooler and more detailed.

Arts Week Fun!

My 3 favorite things in Arts Week were : The dance , Choir and the Calender Art. First Dance!
Because it was fun and also I really enjoyed it when we did the slow motion running.

Then Choir because half way when we had a break we went to this room we got one lolly each and a cup of drink. Then we went back and sang songs. My favorite song was Beach Boys Medley.
My favorite part from Beach Boys Medley is help me Rhonda.

The last thing was Calender Art because I really like drawing and coloring in.

Art Week Fun!

My 3 favorite things in Arts week were:

• The Talent Quest,

• The Kids for Kids concert.

The Talent Quest.
In the afternoon the whole school went to watch the talent quest. To rm 19's surprise , Alice & Edward were in the talent quest! Alice was singing and dancing. Edward was playing the piano. My favorite part was Jared singing.

The Rhythm Of Life.
In the morning we went on a bus to the Ngaio Marsh Theater to watch the Rhythm Of Life. Aoife, Grace and Katie .H. got to perform Kapa haka. My favorite part was my brothers class (rm10) performing a freeze frame.

The Choir.

I was in the choir that was doing the Kids For Kids concert. In the morning we went to the Town Hall for a practice. Then at night we performed. My favorite part was the lollies.YUM! I saw a dress-up alligator stand on a child.

Awesome Arts

I liked the Olympic art because we made springies and we drew some pictures on top of paper clouds.It was hard to colour but we still did it.I also liked making calenders.We drew a background and then we put people and animals.The other thing I liked was the choir.We sang with Suzanne Prentice.I liked preforming The Banana Boat Song.

Jon & Phil

Last week Jon & Phil came into draw our instructions for our shape game. my one was really quick but still turned out right. But the cool part was that some people got their photo taken & I got my photo taken.

On the 2/9/08 of September Mrs Holland's brother Jon came to school. Phil his friend came to. We played Chinese wall but Jon and Phil wanted to play clap catch but it all worked out. Jon had a sore leg but he thought it was fun. Phil had fun to.
