Book week!

On week five it was Book Week. And on Tuesday the whole school had to dress up in a character that was to do with the book that they had. Some people dressed up as Harry Potter and they looked exactly like him. And Aoife won a book because she dressed up the best in the middle school. I dressed up as Jack Stalwart. But the fun part was the opening ceremony when we showed everyone our costumes.

Piano Playing

I played the piano on Monday. And it was very very fun and exciting. I made one mistake. Every one was a good audience and good at clapping.

POKEMON

You know there are 490 POKEMON .
They have lots of types fire,water,grass,flying,poison,rock,steel,dragon.But two legendary Pokemon are the most powerful Pokemon in the whole wide world.

Rugby uinon

All my friends are in my rugby team so we are in good touch. Will has scored 15 tries i have scored 12 tries and Flynn has scored 9 tries and Ozzy has scored 13 tries and that's the score table. Our team is 2Nd on the table WOW! The All Blacks should of chosen Robbie Deans or the Australians call him Dingo Deans instead of Graham Henry.The score Australia 34-19 New Zealand Mils Malinana, Andrew Hore Andy Ellis scored.

The F.O.S Olympics.

On the 14 0f August we had an Olympic day.Each Fendalton Friends group was a country (e.g.Brazil) we dressed up in our country's colors then we got separated into group A and B then we did the opening ceremony after that we went and did our sports. (There was so many we did not get through them all.)

Amine and Carina's inquiry.

First we had an introduction about what it was about. Then we handed out the booklets.Most people did the wordsearch because it was hard. After that we showed you an experiment with leaves and blue water. Then we played Hangman. We didn't do a Quiz because we wanted something different.The inquiry was a bit short but it was fun.

The Kids Fest.

In the holidays I went to So You Can Dance. Which is in the kids fest. Amelia and I did it together. On our first day we learnt half a dance. And on our second day we learnt the rest of the dance.on the last day we showed the parents what we learnt. In one of the dances me and Amelia were partners. After the dance we got a certificate.

Alices mouse!

On Wednesday the 30/7/08 Alice brought her pet mouse.
Her mouse was cute and pretty.
When I held it Katie (the mouse) shivered.
If Alice has more time can she bring Katie again?

My holidays

In the holidays I went to a place called Staveley. Staveley is a place that is quite near Mt Hutt. It is a very small town and not many people live there. My family and I went skiing everyday except for one day. The one day we didn't go skiing we went on a really long walk. In one part of the walk it was called "The river walk". We thought we would just walk past a river but we actually had to walk through a river!!! We even had to jump over stones! One of the nights we were there the Morton's stayed with us. We played lots of games and stayed up until midnight!!! The house we stayed at had a hot tub and it was really cool!

The Beijing Olympics

This year the Olympics are in Beijing.
The mascots are called The Friendlies.The Friendlies are made out of BeiBei the fish, JingJing the
panda, YingYing the tibeten antelope, HuanHuan the Olympic flame and NiNi the
swallow.

JingJing is good at strength sports.
NiNi is good at gymnastics.
YingYing is good at track and field.
HuanHuan is good at ball sports.
BeiBei is good at water sports.

My weekend

At the weekend my friend Madi went to my house and we had good fun.
