We did our presentation about the brain.

First we did our intro and then did a song.

We shared some information and made booklets for the class.

Ashleigh,Georgia and Katie were teaching a lessen about the digestive system to the class.

First we put them into groups and read them some information.

Then we gave out the booklets and did activities in the booklets.

Then we got them back and we did a quiz.

On Thursday 3erd the "Fossy Ferns "(THE STAFF)played netball against the kids.
Staff won.


On Friday 4th the "fossy footies"(the staff team)played football.
They won.

Inquiry Presentations

I have really enjoyed all the presentations we have had so far. You have all put in so much effort into your research and preparing for your presentations. I loved the bones that Alice brought in and I really enjoyed doing all the activities and word-finds in the booklets. The quizzes were really fun too. I can see we have some people in Room 19 that may become teachers when they're older!
I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone else has found out in their Inquiries next term.

Room 14 Art Lesson

I really enjoyed it when a couple of people from room 14 came to share some awesome art work with us. They came because it was dyslexia week so it was very cool. They were all very good at teaching art work. My favourite part will probably be when I did a perfect circle. By Edward B

The Mousehole Cat Description of Old Tom by Sarah

Her own pet, Old Tom, was very well behaved. He wore a blue jersey as dark as the night. He has a hat as black as coal. He wears a rosy red bandana if he is happy (that is nearly all the time!). He has the bushiest, scruffiest & whitest, in the village actually in all the country! He even smokes a pipe but I would of thought he would have a grey beard from all that smoke. To keep his patchy pants up he wears a belt that is as disgustingly brown as a muddy shoe(that might have been in a yucky situation).He has a smile like the most wonderful thing in the world.

He is a BRILLIANT fisher he fishes exactly like a shark. He might even turn into one when he fishes & leaves a fake behind. He takes his net EVERYWHERE!

‘He is a very good pet’ says Mowzer. He is really her owner!!! He NEVER has stepped on beer tail or spilled beer on her. Every night they have fish. Tonight we are having..... A MOULDY BOOT!!!! The end. By Sarah Kate.
